Whether you are just thinking about getting started or a decade into delivering best-in-class services, the URA encourages all mission-aligned and interested program leaders to apply to join us. The foundation of this work is the development of authentic, long-term relationships. We believe that goes for us too and work to ensure the leaders of the programs in our network are people of integrity with their hearts in this work for the right reasons.

URA members exclusively serve low-income, under-represented communities.

URA looks for partnerships with programs that have exceptional leadership, recruitment pathways for participants, a clear mission and sustainable model that drives growth on and off the pitch. We understand that not every program meets these standards right now; in fact, the URA exists to help programs in every phase of development reach these critical milestones.

Serving children in under-resourced communities is high-stakes work. Our young people deserve consistency, especially when new promises are made and opportunities are offered. All URA affiliate programs should embrace a focus on working towards sustainability in leadership, funding, participation, and program design.
